A high profile, private family based in Belgravia, London are looking for a highly experienced Private Chef for a full-time, permanent position. There are 4 members in the family, and the chef will also be required to cook for guests on a regular basis. They are looking for ideally a Russian speaker as the family speak Russian as their native language however, if you have extensive professional experience in Russian families as well as knowledge of their national cuisine, it is very likely that you will progress to the interview stage.
Due to the family’s background, we are looking for a chef who is tactful, respectful at all times, andunderstands the importance of keeping strict confidentiality.
Type: Full-time, Permanent, Live IN
Salary: 50 000.00 GBP gross +
Working days: flexible, negotiable, could be rota basis
Working hours: flexible, negotiable, could be rota basis
Driving license: UK/EU would be a bonus
Starting date: ASAP
· The family are very keen on Russian, Italian, Asian and Lebanese cuisine so ideally looking for a candidate with a passion for this type of food.
· You need to be driven in creating new dishes and innovative with new menus.
· Shop for or order food and kitchen supplies and equipment.
· Food presentation skills are extremely important.
· Plan and prepare food for parties, holiday meals, luncheons, special functions, and other social events.
· You should be able to adapt quickly and create tasty, healthy dishes upon request efficiently so excellent organisational skills are required.
· Previous private household experience preferred.
· Longevity in previous roles is vital.
· Pet friendly due to the family’s dog and mini piglet.
We are looking for a Chef who has previously worked for UHNW principals and understands how to work as part of a team. Other household staff are housekeepers, a PA and a Chauffeur.
