Our new client (an international family of four) based in Kensington, London are looking for a Housekeeper to look after their property. Currently there are 3 people living at the property but the family occasionally travel and therefore during the time that they are away, you may be requested to be in charge of deliveries / contractors. The family are looking to hire for a long term contract only, to last for several years.
The terrace house that you will be working in has been renovated in 2012 and there are still some "touch ups" being completed.
The Position: Housekeeper, Live Out, Permanent
Salary: 13.00 GBP Net / Hour
Hours: 08.00 - 15.00
Days: Mon - Friday (with occasional Saturdays: 09.00 - 13.00)
Driving: Not Required
Travel: Not Required
Start: 15th September 2018
Kitchen cleaning, (eg, wiping down surfaces and white goods, loading the dish washer, washing some items by hand, checking use by dates)
Keeping the general areas clean and tidy (eg. returning misplaced items, emptying the bins, dusting, wiping away marks, watering plants, dusting doors, removing finger prints from likely areas)
Keeping bedrooms clean and tidy (eg. changing of the bed linens, taking away dirty laundry, dusting, replacing water and toiletries)
Taking care of the laundry (eg, washing, ironing, steaming, hand washing, sorting, sawing etc..)
Cleaning of upholstery (eg. hoovering, leather cleaning, steam cleaning, wiping )
Cleaning of the carpets and floors (eg. hoovering, vacuuming, wet washing/mopping, solvent cleaning, wiping down skirting boards etc..)
Taking stock check of pantry and useable items.
Cleaning windows on the inside
Cooking for the family would be a bonus (Mediterranean / Italian)
Antique / Art cleaning
Laundry (eg. (ironing, washing, hand washing delicate clothing
Occasional groceries shopping

- 5 years experience in private families
- UK working permit
We are looking for an active, energetic, multi tasking housekeeper who can manage a busy household. The ideal person must be naturally clean and tidy, meticulous in their job with high attention to detail. The property requires an experienced housekeeper who is respectful and can be left to work on their own. It is vitally important that if you put yourself forward for this position, you are not a person with attitude.
