We have a terrific role for an experienced domestic couple who enjoy cooking and can cook to a very good standard and to look after a beautiful, large residence in Ascot, Royal Berkshire. The house is not used every weekend however, keeping top standards will be an everyday part of this role. The family described their perfect couple as a chef and housekeeper. The large house has 7 bedrooms and numerous reception rooms with grounds but there is additional housekeeping help throughout the week
The family who visit mainly consist of 3 adults and 5 children, there are no childcare duties. Duties will include preparing the house prior to when the family visit, keeping the house clean and tidy, healthy family cooking (sometimes small dinner parties) and generally looking after the family and ensuring they receive top standards whilst they are in residence
Start date: ASAP
Languages: Good English
Type: Live-in
Driving: Yes, at least one to drive as there will be a vehicle to use for shopping and errands
Working days: Thursday to Monday with Tuesday/Wednesday off however, they do not use the house every weekend, so a weekend off twice a month is possible
Working hours: 8hrs when not in residence, flexible when in residence
Salary: chef 30k - housekeeper 27k (negotiable at interview)
Candidates: Mature couples welcome
The accommodation is a large attic room with bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom
You must have a minimum of 2 years previous private household experience working together
