    What you will need to be considered for registration by Perfect Household Staff

    • Have a minimum of three years' experience working for a Private Family in your area of expertise
    • A minimum of two written, checkable references
    • Two forms of Identification
    • You must have a current DBS (formally CRB) certificate or the willingness for Perfect Household staff to apply for one on your behalf
    • Be prepared to sign a confidentiality agreement
    • Preferably formal education in your area of expertise

    Please note: that the above is the minimum requirement for those who wish to register with PHS.

    In the digital era where people watch rather than read, video is the best marketing tool.

    A Video CV is a 2-3 minute long story where you talk along the following lines:

    • present yourself and briefly describe your professional background,
    • explain what personal qualities this job requires and why you like doing it,
    • show yourself as a professional that qualifies for the job and is pleasant to deal with.

    To make your story viewable, some footage of you working may be used.

    The Video CV will be sent to our clients as a supplement to your traditional CV.

    Candidate Contractual Obligations with PHS

    Please click on the "Candidate Legal Agreement" in order to see a copy of the contract between PHS and the Candidate. The candidate will be required to sign a copy of these terms prior to being introduced to our client and their future employer.

    Perfect Household Staff 1 Due to complete confidence in our service, we offer one of the longest guaranty periods in the domestic service staff industry.

    Our placement fee comes with a full guarantee, should the staff we provide prove to be unsuitable or unavailable during that period, we will immediately select and provide replacement candidates at no additional charge or alternatively provide you with a refund.

    To give you further peace of mind, if the member of staff we place with you is unable to attend their duties due to sickness or other reasonable situation, we offer our clients a temporary placement service in their absence.

    Key holding & Emergency Response service where we will respond to any emergency at your property and deal with it accordingly, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Emergencies we can respond to include: Gas leaks, floods and power outages – in the event of a gas leak, flood or power outage we will contact the relevant engineer to rectify the situation.

    Prowlers – if you feel threatened due to prowlers or trespassers, our security officers or residence managers can attend and respond accordingly, provide an escort to or from your vehicle as well as stay on-site for prolonged periods of time until the situation is remedied

    Lockouts – if you are locked out due to loss or theft of your keys, we can provide rapid response to allow you access to your home. We can also arrange to change the locks or cylinders as well as arrange for a new set of keys to be cut for you with immediate effect

  • Pre-arranged property visits

    Responding to emergencies and alarm activations are all in a day’s work for our House Managers and Security Officers, however, we also provide an extensive non-emergency or Pre-Arranged Visit service to help you take care of your home and ensure your life runs smoothly. Services ranging from providing contractors property access to feeding your pets while you’re away or indisposed, no task is too trivial!

    Tasks and requests we can respond to:

    Provide access to tradesmen, contractors, relatives, family members, friends or staff (on your instruction)

    Key duplication – in the event that keys are lost or stolen or you simply want another set, we can arrange for copies to be made and we can deliver or post them to you

    Routine check – whether you’re away for business or pleasure we can complete regular inspections of your home, both internally and externally, to ensure all is well and secure until you return. We can even start and run your car for a short while to keep it in working order

    Feeding pets and watering plants – we can regularly feed your pets and water your plants while you’re away

    Post and waste collection – we can collect your post and forward it on while you are away, clean and put the bins out and bring them in, and much more
