A lovely lady is looking for a housekeeper who is very good with little dogs and likes animals. She has 3 small Maltese who require daily care (garden outings, daily walks, feeding and grooming).
In this position there are rare nanny duties, we need someone who will occasionally babysit her partner’s little girl aged 8 when she visits from France (very occasionally and some holidays).
The housekeeping duties are to clean to a high standard, intermediate or basic cooking. The successful candidate must be willing to house sit and stay with the dogs when the principal travels meaning that a reliable, mature and flexible person is required in this job.
The ideal candidate will be flexible enough to stay late some nights for the dogs when the principal has social events planned. Someone who would be capable of running errands when needed. Liaise with the property manager and report any problems in the house.
The property is located in NW3 and moving to SW3 next year. Ideally looking for someone who will stay for long term (several years).
If you enjoy caring of dogs and happy to occasionally babysit an 8 year old girl, are flexible, tactful, calm, ordered, socially intelligent, energetic and experienced, this position is undoubtedly for you! If you are willing to travel to Spain/France with our client and the dogs it would be a plus.

A housekeeper job may include housework duties:
Kitchen cleaning, (eg, wiping down surfaces and white goods, loading the dish washer, washing some items by hand, checking use by dates)
Keeping the general areas clean and tidy (eg. returning misplaced items, emptying the bins, dusting, wiping away marks, watering plants, dusting doors, removing finger prints from likely areas)
Keeping bedrooms clean and tidy (eg. changing of the bed linens, taking away dirty laundry, dusting, replacing water and toiletries)
Taking care of the laundry (eg, washing, ironing, steaming, hand washing, sorting, sawing etc..)
Cleaning of upholstery (eg. hoovering, leather cleaning, steam cleaning, wiping )
Cleaning of the carpets and floors (eg. hoovering, vacuuming, wet washing/mopping, solvent cleaning, wiping down skirting boards etc..)
Taking stock check of pantry and useable items.
Cleaning windows on the inside
Looking after the pets (eg. dog walkin, feeding, brushing etc...)
Cooking for the family
Silver polishing
Marble cleaning
Antique cleaning
