A lovely Italian family of 4 are now looking for an experienced Chef / Cook who is familiar with several cuisines including Italian to cook fresh, organic and gluten free foods. The lady of the house is vegetarian and we are looking for someone who has a wealth of experience in this respect. The family would like for you to provide variety of meals meals for both principles and their two children. It is important that the vegetarian options will be mixed with meats for the rest of the family.
The property is located in Surrey, Virginia Water (GU 25).
Type: Full-time, Permanent, Live-in or live out
Working days: Mon-Sat (6 days/week)
Working hours: 10 am - 8 pm
Driving license: UK/EU (Vehicle Provided)
Starting date: ASAP
The chefs job may include:
Planning menus according to the principals' dietary requirements
Healthy recipes, the cleanest version of Italian cuisine
Different cuisines (fresh, organic, gluten free foods as well as vegetarian)
Preparing meals for the family on a daily basis (3 people as one of the children is boarding) and serving them (generally lunch and dinner to be made)
Friday pizza evening
Direct the operation and organisation of kitchens and all food-related activities, including the presentation and serving of food
Keep kitchen pots, pans and work surfaces clean and in good condition
Comply with all Hygiene, Health & Safety Legislation
The male principal is a keen cook himself and therefore your standards need to be high. One of the children is at boarding school and you will therefore not be required to cook for them daily. The family do not often entertain and any event are planned in advance.
The Chef / Cook may be required to travel with the family to USA over the christmas period and flexibility will be required.
The property is fully staffed with a House Manager, a House Keeper and a Handy Man.
This position can be live in or live out as a lovely one bedroom lodge is available.

At least 3 years as a Private Chef experience
UK working permit
Knowledge and understanding of Italian cuisine

Experience with healthy diets, clean cooking, etc
