Our returning client is urgently looking for a senior accountant
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious candidate in the field of accounting to join as a Senior Accountant in a newly established company in the United Kingdom.
Type: Permanent, full-time Live-out
Working days: 5 days/week
Working hours: at least 40 hrs / week
Starting date: ASAP
Driving licence: Not required
Job Responsibilities are as follows:
Preparation of management financial statements (monthly, quarterly and annually) ensuring the accounts are accurate and in accordance with financial reporting standards as required in the United Kingdom.
Ensure that the invoice authorisation and supplier payment processes are managed accurately and timely.
Ensure all expense claims are checked prior to payment.
Preparation and processing of the payroll accurately and timely in accordance to the United Kingdom rules and regulations.
Preparation of all the requirements for the annual external audit of the company and related affiliate entities and file all tax returns such as Corporation Tax, payroll tax, VAT etc. for all entities.
Managing day to day treasury functions including processing of all payments, receipts, billings, credit control and treasury administration.
Conduct bank reconciliation of all bank accounts twice a month and correctly document it to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Computation and preparation of corporate tax returns and personal tax returns of the Owner and ensuring they are submitted accurately and timely as per HMRC deadlines.
Experienced in communicating with Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (“HMRC”) on personal and corporate taxation.
Strong interpersonal communication and solid problem-solving skills with the ability to manage banking relationships and treasury activities of the Company.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, simultaneously manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal, communication and solid problem-solving skills
Candidates that apply must be Qualified (ICAEW or ACCA or CIMA) with an experience of minimum 6 to 8 years in accounting and taxation and be from an accounting background in a larger organisation.
