Our new clients, a family of 4 including two lovely children aged 7 and 11 (both girls), are looking for a professional and flexible live in Housekeeper / Nanny who has experience and is comfortable in working around children. The children are very much self sufficient and attend school however may occasionally need supervising. When the children are at home, the lady of the house is a stay at home mom who will be in charge of the children.
The family home is located in Kensington W8 and is 3 stories with a basement theatre room. The accommodation which will be provided to the successful live in housekeeper will be a separate spacious maisonette across the small court yard. Another great bonus is that the principals are offering a food allowance and of course, will be covering the bills.
This housekeeper vacancy will require for the employee to work Monday to Friday and the successful applicant will be expected to live in during the weekends also.
Ideally we are looking for an experienced, professional and dedicated housekeeper who enjoys playing with children and can easily find common ground. This placement will be long term and we are therefore looking for a person who can be flexible and dedicate themselves to the family's needs.
Cooking for the family will be an important part of this job and we are therefore looking for a person who has the experience and a passion for cooking. The family have no dietary requirements or allergies and the lady of the house also enjoys cooking.
Type: Full Time, Permanent, Live IN
Days: 5 days / week
Hours: 8 :30am – 8:30pm (with 2 hours break during the day)
Salary: £450.00 / Week Net (salary calculator) 30484 GBP / Year Gross
Starting date: ASAP
The Housekeeper duties list may include:
- Preparing a healthy breakfast
- General housekeeping duties
- Setting the table, serving the guests
- Children's wardrobe management
- Dusting, washing
- Mopping Floors
- Hoovering
- Laundry
- Linen changing
- Ironing
- Cooking for the family
- Marble cleaning
- Playing and supervising the children
Requirements:
- 5 years of private Housekeeping experience
- UK working permit
- Excellent references
- Driving License
- Child friendly
