A lovely family based in Hampstead, London are searching for a Nanny to look after their 2 years old girl. Finchley Road Station (Jubilee and Metropolitan Lines) are less than a 5 minute walk away from their flat.
We are looking for a fluent Russian speaker as the family speaks Russian as their native language and would like for the child to grow up learning the language and embracing the culture.
Their temporary nanny is now planning to leave at the end of June. They are, therefore, starting their search with a view to having a new nanny start about 2-3 weeks before their current one leaves. This is in order for the current nanny to show the new nanny around and do a proper and smooth handover, not least in order to minimise the stress of introducing a new caretaker to their little girl.
The child will be starting nursery in September. The parents are planning on introducing her to the nursery slowly so she will only do 9am - 12am every day. Naturally, there will be holidays and sick days and, therefore, they would like the nanny to stay with them full time. It would be great if the nanny will be willing to help out with cleaning and ironing in spare time.
Travelling with the family is required once or twice per year. Naturally, the nanny would be paid for her extra time and would have one day off per week while the family are away.
The successful candidate needs to have an experience with babies and toddlers and have great command of English language. The ideal candidate will be also proactive, chatty (in order to hear as much Russian as possible), friendly and sociable, energetic and enthusiastic, loving and caring and someone who can fit into the family well. Please note that they also have a pet cat.
Type: Permanent, Full Time, Live Out
Working days: Mon - Thu (4 days / week)
Working Hours: 8am - 6 pm
Salary: 15 GBP/Hour (600 GBP/Week GROSS)
Starting date: Beginning of June 2020
Benefits:
Usual benefits would include 4 weeks of holidays (at least 2 weeks to coincide with the family holidays and 2 weeks to take when needed) and pension (if elected).
Nanny duties may include:
Morning Routine (eg, waking up, brushing teeth, washing, making the bed, getting dressed)
Preparing a healthy breakfast and supervising
Tidying of child's areas (eg. putting away toys, washing and ironing the babies clothes etc)
Development activities (eg. arranging play dates, setting up a development program museums, theatre, music school)
Sports- taking the girl to her sporting activities, making sure that she has the correct equipment, on return making sure that the equipment is ready for the following session.
Getting ready for the following day
Cooking healthy food
Light housekeeping
Reporting to parents on any developments
Requirements
· Three years of Nanny experience
· Great Command of English
· Great Command of Russian
· First Aid
· DBS Check Complete
· Very well-mannered
· Good with children
· Tactful
· Energetic
