Our new client is currently looking for a hands-on Head Housekeeper / House Manager who would take care of their beautiful massive estate near Dorking, in South London.
Type: Full-time, Permanent, Live-out
Days and Hours: Mon - Fri, 8 hr/day
Language: English (Russian)
Driving license: UK/EU
Salary: negotiable
Starting date: ASAP
The principals need an experienced Head Housekeeper who would look after their house until December, when they move in. Then, should they be happy with the quality of your work, you are to continue but with an extended staff.
Even though it's a family of three adults, they have a lot of friends who come visit often and bring their children along, so being child-friendly is a must.
Duties:
Maintaining the house clean and tidy while the principles are absent
Hands-on cleaning of the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, etc
Wardrobe management
Liaising with the gardener and other contractors
Hiring and managing staff
Taking care of the exquisite fabrics, antique furniture, marble, silver, etc
Working with the cleaning products
Requirements for the position:
Russian language (preference)
3 years of housekeeping experience within a private family
Working permit within the UK
Experience in working with High Net-worth families
Team-working skills
